Creative Grove Artist Market promotes and assists local artists and artisans who manufacture in the New York City / Metropolitan Area. We are not a market for imported and 99 cent store goods!!
Rules and Regulations
Before you apply please read carefully as we need you to understand the following:
1) NJ Sales Tax ID
To comply with state regulations, Creative Grove Artist Market is required to keep New Jersey State Sales Tax Certificate records for all vendors. If you do not have a tax ID, you can still sell your art through Fish with Braids Gallery. There will be a 7% commission collected as administrative fee.
2) Selection Process
After the application is submitted, there is a juried process by our
market team on who is able to participate. Our criteria includes: Original work, LOCALLY MADE, HAND MADE, theme design, environmental and
community oriented projects, promotion of literacy through creativity,
communicative art and design. Applicants who cannot prove to our
satisfaction the "locally made" factor are not welcome in this special
promotion and community. The special promotion lies in building a market place as well network for a "Fair Trade" that starts at home by honoring local labor and local small business.
3) Pricing
We will try to our hardest to maintain low prices with the help of sponsors to make our venue more accessible for the artists and artisans who need the exposure most. Even so we might need to adjust table fees once a year to cover ongoing expenses, but we will inform all vendors ahead of time.
